Can't connect to ultimate team at the monent

Just to check, how long have you had this issue, roughly?

Something that's solved issues like this for other players in to go into the web/companion app and deleting their active squad, then trying to connect via their console again. Do not delete the players themselves! Just the squad. Let me know if that helps.
