"Connecting to Ultimate Team is not possible at the moment."

I have tried absolutly every solution I can think of. And as a Tech Engineer, I have executed an extremely big troubleshooting process. I see many poeple having this issue, and it is 100% on EA's side!

 

  • I've seen other similar reports of this issue after disconnecting or abandoning a gauntlet match, and we've informed our teams.

    In the meantime, though, deleting the squad data on the apps and leaving an empty squad set as active worked for other players, as it completely refreshed the corrupt squad data that seems to be causing the problem. 

    If you get an error when you try to access the Companion app or the Web app, please wait a bit longer after closing the game before logging in to the app,  30 minutes should be enough for the game session to close completely.

    Hey JeppR97​,

    I moved your report of an error accessing UT over to this other thread. It seems to be the same issue that started happening after a gauntlet match disconnection.

    Please try the troubleshooting steps I pinned up above, and let us know how it goes.

    I can't try the COmpanion app fix agian, because it always jus says "Another device connected" so I can't try thst either now

    I got disconnected after a Gauntlet match in Ultimate Team. Since then I cannot enter UT anymore. Clubs works fine and I tried another profile and on that profile ultimate team works on the same Xbox One, so the issue is only on my UT club/account. I already reinstalled the game and cleared local save data

    I have tried all troubleshooting included the "Fix" you just mentioned with deleting my Squad!

    I have fully delted teh game, Ea launcher and everything, reset my router, re dwonlaoded everything, tried. Didn't work. Deleted all other files which could corrupted like setting files and such, didnt work!

    The issue happened as I was at the minute of my Fifa Gauntlet Game in Ultimate team, and my game just said no connection, and Thereafter I was not allowed to click back onto Ultimate team anymore, even as  I have perfect connection to the server.

    Hey Foxernn​,

    What troubleshooting steps have you tried exactly so far? Sometimes the problem is the squad data. 

    Please try deleting your active squad in the Companion app or the Web app, leaving an empty squad set as active there, and then try accessing UT again on your platform.

    In the meantime, do you remember what you were doing before you started getting this error? It might help us figure out what caused it if it's not a connection issue.
