[Connection Issue] Random Disconnects (No Lag) ISP Routing Issue suspected
Platform : PC / EA App Region : Jodhpur, India ISP : DEN Fiber
The Issue : I am experiencing frequent, random disconnects from EA FC Servers. This happens in two scenarios:
Mid-Match : The game drops instantly. There is no prior lag, speed-up lag, or warning indicators.
Menus/SBCs : I get disconnected while submitting SBCs or navigating menus.
Troubleshooting Done :
1. Reset Router / Flushed DNS / Reset Winsock.
2. Updated Network Drivers.
3. ExitLag: Tried using ExitLag to optimize the route, but the disconnects persist.
The Diagnostic Clue (VPN Works) : I tested with NordVPN (Mumbai server). When the VPN is active, the disconnects STOP completely. However, this raises my ping to 80ms+, making the game unplayable. This confirms the issue is a routing path problem with my ISP, not my hardware.
Connection Diagnostic (Pathping): I cannot locate the UOTrace tool, so I ran a Pathping to "easo.ea.com" to identify the packet loss.
I am attaching Pathping results as well.
Request: Can a Community Manager please review the trace above? It seems my ISP is dropping packets at a specific hop. I need confirmation so I can escalate this to my ISP's engineering team.
