constant crashing in ut menus

so, came back to the game after a while away yesterday. game would crash every time it tried to download the latest squad update. just a CTD, no error, didnt create a crash dump. well, i fixed that eventually by deleting all the local squad data etc. after that i played a solid 8 hours without a single issue.   turned my pc off last night, came back on thismorning, and now its crashing to desktop every 2 minutes once inside ultimate team, just even navigating the menus. , tried all the usual fixes but its just not working. and sometimes it says theres an anti cheat error and pc needs a full restart.  never had to restart a pc so many times in 34  years.  again, theres no errors, or crash dumps.

how do i fix?
