Disconnecting at start of 1st game in every Live Event…

Every time I play a game mode with limited attempts (Live Event, Tournament) I disconnect from my 1st game after loading into UT, causing me to lose an attempt - this has happened 5 times with the RTTF events and now I can no longer complete the objectives.

I have had this issue for about 3 months now, and have not found a solution. I have tried deleting all my squads, restarting the game, restarting the console, turning off crossplay. Made not one bit of difference. 

At this point, I've missed out on SO MANY rewards and objectives because of this bug and I'm so sick and tired of it.
