I figured out the fix:
- close the game and EA App
- go to appdata directory (type %appdata% in explorer) or c\users\<username>\appdata\local
- delete the entire "EA SPORTS FC 26"
- launch EA App
- run Game
- NB: it will reset you graphic settings so for users with low end machines (set the graphics to low, and choose 60Hz refresh rate)
- last tip, classic and the default camera are more reliable, the rest (coop, ea, etc are more prone to crashes)
- good luck

You didn't figure out anything, you just happened to play a game without any offsides/fouls that made you think that deleting the AppData folder did this for you - it didn't. The problem is the netcode around breaking the rules and it has nothing to do with our settings/internet.
