FC 26 Extremely Laggy, Long Loading Times & Cannot Access Ultimate Team

Hey — sorry to hear about the trouble with your game on your console. Here are a few things worth trying:

1) Do a full logout / re-sync

• Fully close FC 26 on PS5 (don’t leave it suspended in Rest Mode).
• If you use the Web App/Companion App, log out of that as well.
• Stay logged out for about 30 minutes.
• Then launch FC 26 on the PS5 first and try going into Ultimate Team again.

2) Clear the PS5 cache and rebuild the database

• Power the PS5 off completely (not Rest Mode).
• Hold the power button for around 7 seconds until you hear the second beep to boot into Safe Mode.
• Plug the controller in with a USB cable.
• Choose Clear Cache and Rebuild Database, then run Rebuild Database.

3) Restore your licenses

• Go to Settings - Users and Accounts - Other - Restore Licenses
• Once that finishes, relaunch FC 26 and try FUT again.

4) Delete temporary/corrupted in-game files (only if you can reach the menus)

• From the FC main menu go to Settings - Profile - Delete
• Remove the temporary/corrupt files (don’t delete Career saves if you want to keep them).
• Restart the game and test Ultimate Team again.

This isnt a new issue. Its been happening most the year, and is getting worse. I have tried and tested every reset and cache rebuild option I can and it doesnt solve the problem. EA are useless. Their servers are broken and causing mad issues. Its the ONLY game doing this. I have tried and tested both reset options to their fullest on both ps5 and ps4 copies and the problem still persists. I have reset the game 6 times already this morning and only managed 1 sbc. EA should either give us a refund or fix the issue because 8 months with an unplayaable title I paid 100 quid for is disgusting. EA doing what they do best.

It wont fix the problem. EA are useless. Its their servers. They need to clear them or get new ones. Ive been resetting my console, clearing caches and rebuilding databases allllll year and still the issue persists. You wasted your money buying this game. Sorry.

Dear EA. 

Please stop getting people to do all the basic reset and rebuild options to fix the game. Its not helping to fix anything. Its a problem your end. It doesnt take a genius to work that out. Some of us are really dissappointed with the same BS from you guys. Get the pros in to sort out your servers or dish out the refunds for a Re-Skinned FC25 that doesnt work properly.
