After launching the game through Steam, I was unable to load my profile. It showed a 'failed to load' error. This occurred while I was playing the game—suddenly, it crashed and displayed the error

The only things affected are Skill Game progress and your custom controller layout, so no, your Ultimate Team is going to be just fine if you delete that personal settings 1 file.

please try deleting that profile - called personal settings 1 file or just 1 in your case, according to the screenshot - and making a new one - this doesn't delete your progress or inventory, but simply deletes your settings and can help if the crashes are due to corrupted data.
