EAFC PC FPS ISSUES

Have you tried to set read-only and deny writing to each of the 3 configuration files (fcsetup.ini, fcsetup_default.ini, overrideAutodetect.lua) present in C:\Users\your user\AppData\Local\EA SPORTS FC 26 ?. Before doing this you must open the game and set the graphics that are suitable for your PC.

My system specs are: GTX 1650 4GB Ryzen 5 5600 This system can run FC26 at 60 FPS on medium settings. But I don’t understand what’s happening or why it suddenly drops to 5–10 FPS. Also, every time I exit and re-enter the game, my graphics settings get reset. I’m about to lose my mind. When I look at the threads that were opened about this issue three months ago, people were saying the exact same things. None of the suggested fixes work. Even if I lower the render scale to the minimum, the FPS is still the same.

Also , try setting the rendering scale to 85 in the EA 26 menu. What are your PC specs?

Hello, I had the same problems too. First, set the settings you play well with in the eafc 26 menu, either from the nvidia app or directly from the fcsetup.ini file. Then, try setting the configuration files (fcsetup.ini, fcsetup_default.ini, overrideAutodetect.lua) to read-only first, and then deny them write access for each user. That's how I solved it. However, I think the biggest problems or the settings that should be lowered are the rendering scale (even lowering the normal resolution to 720p, 1080p caused a drop in fps with the rendering scale at 100), Ambient Occlusion to medium-low, and setting Hair Strands to off.
