Extreme lag after FUT Birthday Team 2 Update

After the FUT birthday team 2 update, I have been experiencing extreme lag. Almost like my players are sluggish, in the mud, and late on everything. (Champs, Rivals, Squad Battles, Even normal kick off vs CPU) It's virtually unplayable. Everything was honestly playing great for the last couple months and now it's just awful. Anyone else experiencing this? Is it a EA server issue? Tried everything to fix it- including lowering graphic settings, updating drivers, and uninstalling / reinstalling the game twice. Still nothing... The only game mode which doesn't seem to lag as much is Rush.
