Description:
The game crashes to desktop during Career Mode matches with NO error
message/window - it closes exactly like pressing Alt+F4. It happens in
almost every match played, on both old and new career saves. First
occurred on 2026-09-02 (install day) and still reproduces.
Crash dump analysis:
14 crash dumps collected (7 crash events, paired dumps each time).
- 12x 0xC0000005 ACCESS_VIOLATION (read of 0x0 / 0x8 / 0x39 / invalid ptr)
- 2x 0xC0000094 INTEGER_DIVIDE_BY_ZERO
All exceptions inside FC26.exe (no system DLL / GPU driver module).
Key finding - stack fingerprint:
All 14 dumps share the same call path: return addresses
FC26.exe+0x57dc0b and FC26.exe+0x5a1143 appear in every crash thread
stack. The 7 crashes hit 7 different child code offsets but all through
this common path -> a single defect in the Career Mode match engine
code, not random memory corruption (stacks would differ).

Already tried (no effect):
- Steam verify integrity (OK)
- Fresh career save still crashes (not save corruption)
- Remote software not in use when crashing (ToDesk/GameViewer excluded)
- Pagefile increased 3GB -> 16-96GB, still crashes
- Latest GPU driver, still crashes
Note: one crash after reboot (09-09 22:53) produced NO dump at all -
silent exit with no WER/EAC log, suggesting the EA anti-cheat service
itself crashed and terminated the game.
