FC 26 crashes on launch: EA Javelin 0xC0000005
I’m extremely frustrated with the current EA Javelin anti-cheat implementation.
The game crashes with 0xC0000005, while every other application and game on my PC works normally. The issue appears to be related to the anti-cheat conflicting with legitimate software such as VPN/virtual network adapters, which I need for work.
This is unacceptable from a user experience perspective. A paying customer should not have to troubleshoot Windows services, drivers, Secure Boot, VPN adapters, and event logs just to launch a football game.
If the anti-cheat blocks or crashes the game, it should clearly explain which exact component is causing the issue instead of failing with vague errors like “Faulting module unavailable.”
Please improve EA Javelin diagnostics and compatibility. Right now, the anti-cheat feels like the main problem, not the solution.
