FC 26 Lag - unplayable - losing streak - ignoring input

I have exactly the same issue! I know its the game because sometimes its fine and then the next game will be impossible to win, my players will make mistakes, they feel slow, lethargic and un-resppnsive! 

I have the same destructive gameplay, mostly due to the game ignoring inputs or inputs delayed by seconds. Defense doesn't allow me to select the directional inputted defenders.  The game will always choose a wrong defender, especially not the one I have selected (especially when its a diagonal input). Defending headers is also bad...my player never challenges the ball even with all the meta playstyles and height/jumping advantages.  Furthermore, game pretends I have a good connection at start, then the game begins and I get the eternal connection issue in game pop up. I generally have a play a couple minutes to figure out how long the input delay is so that I can pre input the input for the inputs by the input delay period.  Yeah...that bad and a horrible game experience. I didn't buy this game for the menus...I bought this game to play with high performance (not forced low performance settings). Its not my computer...and doesn't happen with other games. I do not recommend buying this game for 2027...this issue has been going on for a long time now and EA cant fix the issues.
