FC 26 PC – Failed to load profile on fresh Windows account
EA SPORTS FC 26 on PC launches normally but always stops at “failed to load” during profile initialization.
Troubleshooting already completed:
- Repaired game files
- Cleared EA App cache
- Reinstalled/launched through Epic
- Tested on a completely fresh Windows user account
- Checked Windows Security and ransomware protection
- Tested with OneDrive disabled/paused
- Other EA games work normally
The game also fails to create the EA SPORTS FC 26 Documents profile folder correctly.
Because the issue still occurs on a brand-new Windows profile, this appears to be corrupted FC 26 cloud/profile data or an EA-side sync problem tied to the account.
