This issue has persisted for so long!
EA has likely weighed the profit and loss of pushing a real fix and decided the frustration is worth maintaining. The value of thousands of small phantom disconnection loses likely translates to more in-game transactions when squad battles rewards are consistently degraded.
It's that or just a complete not giving an eff about gamer experience. Either way it's a disgrace how long and how many game releases this has lasted for.
Also this always happens squad battles AI start playing like aliens that don't respect physics. When AI cheat software can't win, it just disconnects the game.
