FC 26 Unplayable – FPS Drops and Resolution Issues

Hi everyone,

Today I noticed a serious issue with FC 26 on PC. Until yesterday, I was able to play smoothly at 1440p and 144 FPS.

Today, even when setting 1080p and 60 FPS, the game is stuttering and practically unplayable.

I have already tried:

• Changing the resolution in-game and in fcsetup.ini
• Launch parameters (-screen-width/-screen-height)
• Reinstalling the game
• Updating GPU drivers
• Closing all background programs
• Running in fullscreen mode

Nothing has fixed the issue.

It seems to be a EA-side bug / day-one patch issue, as other users report the same problems (FPS drops, stuttering menus, unplayable game modes).

Is there any temporary workaround recommended by EA, or is an official patch planned to fix these issues?
