FC 26 UT Division Rivals Only Allowing Me to Control 1 Player

This has never happened to me before. I am playing on PC, got into a game and immediately only had control of one player. I tried disconnecting and reconnecting my controller, checking Steam settings, everything I could after being in a match without closing the game. I have seen online that this is potentially a hacker's doing, which would make sense in this case because my team was very clearly stronger than the other person's. How can I get that progress back since it's not my fault this happened?
