FC 26 Won’t Launch – Stuck on “Launching Game” in EA App
Hello,
I have been playing FC 26 without any issues since October, but for the past two weeks I have been completely unable to launch the game.
When I launch FC 26 through the EA App, it gets stuck on “Launching Game” indefinitely. The game never actually opens, and I do not receive any error message or crash notification.
I have already tried almost every commonly suggested troubleshooting method, including:
- Completely uninstalling and reinstalling the game
- Repairing the game files through the EA App
- Clearing the EA App cache
- Reinstalling the EA App
- Restarting my PC
- Running the EA App and the game as administrator
- Trying various recommended FC 26 / EA App troubleshooting solutions
Unfortunately, none of these methods have resolved the issue.
What makes this particularly confusing is that the game worked perfectly fine for months, and I have not made any significant hardware or system changes. The problem simply started approximately two weeks ago.
The EA App shows that the game is launching, but it remains stuck in that state indefinitely and FC 26 never actually starts.
Could someone please help me identify what is causing this issue? If this is related to a recent EA App/FC 26 update, a background service, anti-cheat, or another system-level issue, I would really appreciate any guidance on what I should check next.
I have been unable to play the game for around two weeks now despite reinstalling and repairing it multiple times.
