FPS drops ,LAG , Settings Reset, and DC

Platform: PC
Region: Morocco
Connection: Wired Ethernet
Game Mode: Ultimate Team (Rivals, Rush)
Specs:

  • CPU: Intel Core i5-10400F
  • GPU: NVIDIA GTX 1650
  • RAM: 16 GB DDR4
  • OS: Windows 11
  • DirectX Version: 12

When I launch EA FC 26, the game runs smoothly with good FPS. But as soon as I enter Ultimate Team—especially Rivals or Rush—the game begins to lag severely. This lag sometimes disappears mid-match, but often returns unpredictably. It’s not tied to background apps, overheating, or network instability, as I’ve tested with a wired connection and stable ping.

Another issue is that my graphics settings reset every time I launch the game. V-Sync toggles randomly, display mode switches from borderless to windowed, and resolution settings revert without warning. I’ve tried disabling cloud saves and locking the settings file, but the problem persists.

The most disruptive bug happens during Rush matches: when the ball goes out and the corner menu appears, there’s a 50/50 chance the game will disconnect instantly. This happens without any lag or ping spikes beforehand, and it’s consistent across multiple matches. I’ve confirmed that at least three other players in my region are experiencing the same issue.

To troubleshoot, I’ve repaired the game files, reset EA Anti-Cheat, disabled overlays, flushed DNS, reset the network stack, and tested with a gaming VPN (ExitLag) to reroute traffic through more stable servers. I also changed DNS settings to 1.1.1.1 and 8.8.8.8. None of these steps have resolved the issue.

Please advise if this is a known server-side issue or if there’s a fix available. I’ve attached my DxDiag file for reference.

or if this is a known issue tell me how to fix it
