Game keeps asking me to launch from ea app

I paid for fc 26 on steam and whenever I try to run it, it opens the splash screen with an error message asking me to run the game from ea app. I've run the game from ea app, same error. I've enabled secure boot, same error. I've repaired game files, same error. Formatted my pc, same error. I don't know what to do anymore. Please anyone who has a solution or suggestion should help me out.
