HELP !!!! Crashes With PS5 Controller + EAAntiCheat Error 87 / 4294901855
EA SPORTS FC 26 on PC (bought on Steam) keeps crashing during matches whenever I use a PS5 (DualSense) controller, but is stable with keyboard/mouse.
System
- ASUS TUF Gaming F15, i7‑12700H, RTX 4070, 16 GB RAM
- Windows 11 64‑bit (fully updated)
- All NVIDIA, Intel Wi‑Fi 6 AX201 and chipset drivers updated
Behaviour
- With keyboard/mouse: I can play full matches without problems.
- With DualSense (USB or Bluetooth): the game crashes to desktop mid‑match (often soon after kick‑off), no error on screen.
- DualSense works perfectly in other games on this same laptop.
Event Viewer / Services
- “The EAAntiCheatService service terminated with the following error: %%4294901855” (Event ID 7023).
- Trying to start EAAntiCheatService in services.msc sometimes gives Error 87: The parameter is incorrect.
- Occasionally there is also an Intel Wi‑Fi 6 AX201 “invalid value to the driver” message, but other online games do not crash.
Already tried
- Verified files in Steam.
- Deleted FC 26 / EA cache in %localappdata% and %appdata%.
- Fully uninstalled and reinstalled EA App, EA Anti‑Cheat, and FC 26 (with restarts).
- Secure Boot enabled, UEFI mode on.
- SFC /scannow and DISM (no issues).
- Disabled Steam Input and PlayStation support, no DS4Windows or similar tools, no VPN or third‑party antivirus, overlays off.
- Tested controller via USB and Bluetooth; crashes in both cases, but never with keyboard only.
Could you please:
- Confirm if there is a known issue between EA Javelin Anti‑Cheat, FC 26 and PS5 (DualSense) controllers on PC.
- Provide any hotfix, updated anti‑cheat installer, or advanced steps to resolve the EAAntiCheatService errors on my system.
