In-Game Overlay Won’t Disable in FC26 and Ruins Gameplay – Requesting Fix

Dear EA Support Team,

I am experiencing an issue with the EA Desktop in-game overlay while playing FC26. Whenever I press R2 in-game, the overlay appears, even though I have set the in-game overlay option to “Off” in the EA App settings.

I have attempted the following without success:

- Turning off the in-game overlay in EA App settings.
- Closing EA App completely and restarting it.
-Checking for configuration files in Documents and AppData.

Despite these steps, the overlay still appears, which disrupts gameplay.

Could you please provide any potential fixes or guidance to disable the in-game overlay? This issue seems to persist across multiple sessions and may be a bug in the current EA App version.
