In game Rivals matches freezing then game crashes back to Xbox home screen.

I have played 5 Rivals matches in three of those the game freezes commentary continues for a brief second then screen goes black and game crashes. First two times on cross play so I turned that off in match making only for it to happen again. I'm close to been timed out for DNF but cannot play a full game, in all three I was winning and came after opponents paused to make changes, the game starts again but only a few seconds ( minutes in game) it beings to freeze then crashes.  Please help this is making the game unplayable and it can't be just happening to me.
