Input Delay and Lag on PC

Hey guys, I got FC 26 almost a month ago and since then it’s been a nightmare. I’ve only been playing Clubs (League games and Drop-Ins) and a bit of Division Rivals (UT). For context, I’m playing on a gaming laptop with 500 Mbps internet through Ethernet and good ping. In every match it shows my ping is around 20–60, but that’s definitely not true. 

What happens is that for about 5 matches, I get huge input delay that constantly increases from 1 second to even 30 seconds. I turned on the setting that shows two controllers on the screen: one that displays when you press a button and the other when the game actually registers it, and it confirms the issue is not from my controller like some people suggested. The game also constantly slows down; it doesn’t freeze, it just becomes slower and the lag or delay keeps getting worse. 

Then, in around 1 out of 5 games, I get a match that starts with about 2 seconds of delay but then becomes almost perfect. However, when the ball goes out of play or there’s a replay, after the replay ends (which most of the time isnt even skippable), the lag comes back again and I have to wait until it goes away—or sometimes it never does. 

I really don’t know what to do. Please help!
