Keeper gone AWOL

For the last 2 days, some glitch is affecting my keeper. 
(I only play online in Seasons mode on Xbox series X)

• first day my keeper just randomly disappeared, no red card, he just disappeared off the team, meaning I was down to 10men and no one in goal
• Now, my keeper is there but I can’t control him and he immediately from kick off walks away from the goal, meaning I can’t stop any goals. 

the game is unplayable like this - I have uninstalled and reinstalled to try to fix it but still it doesn’t work. 

does anyone know what the issue is or how I can fix it?
