Massive Input Delay Is Destroying the EA FC Experience in Southeast Europe
To the EA Sports Team,
I am writing this message with genuine frustration and disappointment, but also with love for this game that I have played passionately for years.
Please, EA Sports, consider adding servers in Southeast Europe.
Right now, the gameplay experience for many of us in this region feels extremely unfair and almost unplayable, especially since the new season and the release of the TOTS content. The delay and gameplay inconsistency have become unbearable.
I currently play in Division 3, but because of the massive input delay, I feel like a complete amateur player. My gameplay no longer reflects my actual skill level.
Passing is one of the biggest problems:
- Passes are delayed and extremely inaccurate.
- Opponents intercept almost everything because my players react too late.
- Many times my attackers run into offside positions simply because the pass happens one or two seconds late.
- My gameplay becomes predictable because every action is delayed.
Dribbling is another disaster:
- Around 95% of the skill moves and right-stick dribbles I execute simply do not register properly.
- Players feel heavy, slow, and unresponsive.
- The game ignores commands during important moments.
Shooting has become catastrophic:
- Opponents block almost every shot because the shot command activates too late.
- Shots become weak for no reason.
- Many shots go completely off target due to delay and sluggish gameplay.
- Finishing chances feels random instead of skill-based.
Defending is possibly the worst part:
- Every time I switch players while chasing an opponent, my defender takes one or two unnecessary stopping steps before moving.
- During that small delay, the opponent gains huge distance and the attack is impossible to stop.
- Defensive responsiveness feels broken.
This issue became dramatically worse after the new season and the arrival of TOTS players.
What makes this even more frustrating is that my internet is NOT the problem:
- Ping: 28–32ms
- Internet speed: 300 Mbps wired connection
Despite these numbers, the gameplay feels extremely delayed and inconsistent every single match.
I used to get 9–10 wins regularly in FUT Champions.
Now I barely reach 5–6 wins.
I dropped from Division 3 to Division 5, not because I suddenly forgot how to play, but because the gameplay responsiveness has become unbearable.
The saddest part is this:
I genuinely love this game.
But lately I am seriously thinking about uninstalling it because it has become emotionally exhausting to play.
Sometimes I feel like if I uninstall EA Sports FC, it would feel like losing a member of my family, because of how much passion and time I invested into this game over the years.
Please understand:
Players in Southeast Europe deserve equal gameplay conditions.
We are competing against players who clearly have smoother and more responsive gameplay experiences.
I know adding servers costs money, maybe even millions of dollars, but EA Sports generates billions in revenue every year. For a company of this scale, improving server coverage and gameplay fairness around the world should be a priority.
Please hear the voices of Southeast European players.
We are not asking for advantages.
We are only asking for fair gameplay.
