Yup, a lot of people having the same problem. Main thread here:

No game modes to select from the main menu - Only News/Upgrade screen | EA Forums - 12593326 (note: it is marked "solved", I guess so they could pin their comment asking for feedback on the bug, but it is not actually solved.)
