Pause screen

In the middle of rivals game trying to get back to div6 to play champs at the weekend, my opponent pauses, I’m leading by 2 goals but when we resume to the game the pause screen stays up on my screen. I can hear the game but can’t see it, can only see the pause screen. This resulted in me restarting the app, losing the game and getting a disconnection warning!
