PC Graphics settings reset every game

Since day one I saw a video on youtube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ag94gRvA9w) with settings that left my game perfect, I had no issues and everything was responsive, then, after the first patch made to the game, I started to notice that when playing a game everything was sluggish and unresponsive, I went to check the settings and I realised that the graphics settings were reset to the preset "medium", even after changing this in game and in the main menu (inside and outside Ultimate Team)  everytime that I start a game it goes back to the medium preset, I change it in game but it continues unresponsive so I dont really know if the game really applied the changes I made. 

Its a shame because this years game had so much potencial, but right now I cant play because of the absolute delay.
