Persistent Activation Issue Grey Link2EA Window - Epic Games - FC 26
Hello,I am writing this because I have been unable to launch EA SPORTS FC 26 since I purchased it on the Epic Games Store (January 6th). I have a high-end PC (Ryzen 7 5700, GTX 1660 Super) and I am running Windows 10 with Secure Boot enabled.
The issue: Every time I try to launch the game from Epic or the EA App, a grey activation window (Link2EA) appears. I enter my credentials, but the window simply closes and returns me to the EA App. The game never starts.
What I have already tried:
Reinstalled the game and EA App multiple times.
Cleared EA App cache and deleted the License folder in ProgramData.
Verified .NET Frameworks, Visual C++, and updated Windows/Drivers.
Added exclusions to Windows Defender and disabled CFG for the .exe files.
Tried a new Windows Administrator user.
Contacted EA Support via chat twice (Case mentioned it is a known issue).
I am very frustrated because I purchased this PC specifically for this game. Is there any real workaround or a manual entitlement refresh that can be done? I do not want to lose my refund window waiting for a fix.
