Persistent Matchmaking Failure Across All EA Games - STADIUMNAME_-1 Error
Hi everyone,
I'm facing a very persistent and complex technical issue on my PC and I'm hoping someone in the community might have some insight.
I am completely unable to play ANY EA online multiplayer games, including EA FC, Apex Legends, and Battlefield.
The symptoms are always the same:
- In FC, matchmaking finds an opponent, but then fails with the error "STADIUMNAME_-1".
- In Apex and Battlefield, a match is found but it never starts, freezing on the final loading screen.
I believe this is an account-level issue because it's a recurring problem (I had the same bug in FC 25 months ago) and it has survived my extreme troubleshooting efforts.
Here is what I have already done:
* A complete, clean reinstallation of Windows 11 on a formatted drive.
* A full motherboard BIOS update on my MSI Z690 (this fixed a separate AntiCheat Error 87).
* Verified all game files and cleared the EA App cache multiple times.
* Manually confirmed all permissions are correct for the Windows Firewall and Controlled Folder Access.
Since the problem affects all EA games and survives a complete system wipe, it seems to be tied to my EA account's server-side data. I already have an official support ticket open with EA Help, but I wanted to ask the community if anyone has ever encountered an issue like this.
