Ping is awful

my ping reaches over 250ms, every other game i play usually averages around 20-30. why is fc26 so **bleep** high? its unplayable half the time, i'm late for every button press no matter how fast i press it. if it continues like this i'd need a refund. 

what's the point in paying over £80 for a game that i can't even play.
