PS5 Remote Play shows black screen when launching EA Sports FC 26

When launching FC 26 via PS Remote Play on iPad, the video feed stays completely black. Remote Play still works as a controller only when the game main menu is open

This happens at launch and persists through the main menu and Ultimate Team.

The game works normally when played directly on the PS5.
