I am having the same issue since last week until now only while playing fc26. Playing other games for hours my ps5 works just fine and not overheating.
It's annoying and i am worried it could damage my ps5.
Son having same issue in last week with only FC26…keeps shutting down in middle of game…any update?

Have you cleaned the fan and heatsinks inside the PS5? You can tell the console is overheating if you need to unplug the power and replug for it to turn on. Thanks, EA_Barry.
