Request to Disable R1 Music Menu Shortcut in EA Sports FC 26
Hello EA Support Team,
I am writing to report an issue in EA Sports FC 26 that is directly affecting gameplay performance.
Currently, pressing or holding the R1 (RB) button during matches triggers the in-game music menu. The problem is that R1 is also commonly used for sprinting and other gameplay functions. Because of this overlap, the music overlay appears during live matches, interrupting control and causing gameplay errors. I have personally lost matches due to this conflict, as it interferes with sprint timing and defensive reactions.
There is currently no option in the settings to disable or remap the music shortcut independently. Even after turning music volume to zero and disabling music-related options, the overlay still appears when pressing R1.
I respectfully request that Electronic Arts consider adding one of the following in a future update:
An option to fully disable the R1 music shortcut
The ability to remap or customize the music menu button
A setting to prevent the music overlay from appearing during matches
This would greatly improve competitive gameplay and prevent unintended interruptions.
