Server issue in West Africa? Not connecting to Nigeria anymore on Pc

I'm in West Africa (Burkina Faso), but for the past 10 days the game hasn't been connecting me to the Nigerian server anymore. Instead, I'm constantly being matched on distant servers (Europe) , and my ping is around 130 ms.

I play on PC windows 11.

I'm certain something is wrong. I never had this issue before. The Nigerian server should be the closest one to my location, but the game keeps sending me elsewhere, making the gameplay almost unplayable because of the high latency.

I don't understand why this is happening. Has anyone else experienced this recently? Is there anything I can do to get connected to the Nigerian server again?
