We Need votes & comments to get EA’s attention about 2–10 FPS drops during halftime & cutscenes
This is the 3rd time I’m posting about the serious FPS drop issue that happens during cutscenes such as:
Match intros (fans, players entering the pitch)
Halftime animations
End-of-match coin/reward screen
Pack opening walkout animations
During actual gameplay everything runs smoothly, but these cutscenes cause the FPS to drop down to 2–10 FPS, which completely ruins the experience.
Also, when the second half kicks off, my FPS always freezes for 2–3 seconds before stabilizing again. This makes me lose the advantage against my opponent right at the restart.
I paid $70 for the Ultimate Edition + EA Play Pro to play early, but since launch I (and many other PC players) have been facing this issue.
Here’s what I’ve already tried with no success:
Set all graphics settings to Low / Windowed / Borderless / Fullscreen
Lock FPS at 60 or Unlimited
V-Sync ON/OFF, Full frame or Half frame rendering
Deleted profile folder, reinstalled game, verified files
Updated GPU/CPU drivers, BIOS, chipset
Rolled back from Windows 11 to Windows 10
Optimized AMD Adrenalin, Windows Game Mode OFF, set Windows to performance mode
Tried without MSI Afterburner (still the same issue)
At this point, I’m out of options. Please vote and comment so EA takes this problem seriously and provides a fix.
