Severe Performance Issues in FC26 on PC – Ongoing for Two Months

Dear EA Support Team,

I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding my experience with EA Sports FC26 on PC, which has been the worst Ultimate Team experience I have had as a long-term player of the franchise.

Since launch, my progress in Ultimate Team has been severely impacted by persistent technical issues that remain unresolved after nearly two months.

Issue Description
Whenever I play Rivals or other online competitive modes, the first few minutes of gameplay are normal. However, shortly afterward, the game consistently degrades into severe lag and slow-motion gameplay, accompanied by significant input delay. This makes competitive play effectively impossible.

Why this is NOT an Internet Issue

  • I still have FC25 installed, and it runs perfectly online under the same network conditions.
  • The same lag and slow-motion behaviour occurs in Squad Battles in FC26, which are against AI and do not rely on online matchmaking. This strongly indicates the issue is not network-related.
  • I live in a country with reliable, high-quality internet infrastructure, and all other online games and services function without issue.

PC Performance
My PC is a dedicated gaming system and exceeds EA’s published minimum and recommended requirements for FC26. Once again, FC25 and other demanding games run smoothly, including in online modes. This confirms the problem is specific to FC26 and not my hardware.

Impact and Disappointment
I purchased the Ultimate Edition of FC26, the most expensive version of the game, because I was genuinely looking forward to playing it. Instead, the experience has been consistently frustrating and unplayable. Despite extensive troubleshooting and searching for solutions online, I have found none—only many other players reporting the same unresolved issue.

The most concerning aspect is that this problem has persisted for over two months with no fix or meaningful communication. This level of delay, lack of resolution, and apparent indifference toward affected players is extremely disappointing.

I request:

  • A clear acknowledgment of this issue
  • Information on whether it is being actively investigated
  • Solution to fix the issue (if there is one)
  • A realistic timeline for a fix, or guidance on next steps if a fix is not forthcoming

I expect better support and accountability, especially for a premium product.
