Showcase features?

I downloaded the showcase version of the game and the only thing I can do is learn to play and not any of the other modes mentioned on the official website like clubs/kick off/ultimate team. Both my ea account and the linked playstation account were created in the UAE and i've checked the service updates page and seen nothing so what might be the issue?
