This issue has been going on for far too long now for players using Sky Internet not being able to play Ultimate Team without lag, freezing menus, unable to connect to UT, random disconnects, ping spikes, etc. and EA are seemingly refusing to resolve the issue. The issue was confirmed a while ago to be a routing issue between EA and Sky, which neither are resolving as Sky are telling people it's an EA issue and vice-versa.
I was on Live Chat earlier to complain once again and the response I was eventually met with, after sending another thread of people complaining about the issue a few hours earlier was:
"yes i have checked that due to no issues facing by the players to us support the issue is being closed a long time ago".
Seemingly, this routing issue will go on until FC27 and maybe even into that game cycle.
Once of the solutions EA provided me on live chat was to try another internet provider which isn't an option for most people, especially Sky users who are probably in expensive contracts. So what are our next steps?
Do we delete the game and move on? Do we keep complaining until maybe eventually the issue is resolved? Do we just try and play the game and deal with it?
From the numerous live chats I have had with them, the issue won't be going away soon.
Madness init.
They’re trying to brush this is off as insignificant but there’s 1000s of players affected by this.
we gotta keep this active and report this consistently until they address this properly.
if they don’t people will stop buying the game eventually. Whether it’s enough to actually get their recognition, who knows.
don’t know about you guys but off peak, it was mostly fine for me a couple weeks ago. Since then it’s been unplayable 24/7 which is the state it’s been in for 95% of the time since release.
