Forum Discussion
Hello everyone and EA Community Managers,
In light of what's happening in the Sky ISP user, the similar problem happens to us player in Indonesia.
I want to echo the concerns in this thread and provide a clearer picture of what is currently happening. This is not an isolated incident or a local home network issue; it is a massive regional connectivity blackout affecting players across Indonesia.
Based on our collective troubleshooting and the reports in this forum, multiple Indonesian ISPs are simultaneously failing to connect to EA FC servers. This includes major national providers like MyRepublic and First Media, as well as other growing ISPs like Oxygen, Remala Abadi, and Ideanet.
Interestingly, players can still log in using cellular data/mobile hotspots. This strongly indicates that the root cause is either a broken international upstream routing gateway or a massive, mistaken IP/ASN block on EA's server/firewall side specifically targeting Indonesian broadband networks.
EA needs to treat this issue with high priority. Indonesia has one of the largest and most passionate FC fanbases in the world. Furthermore, considering EA has recently signed a licensing agreement to feature the Indonesian National Team (Timnas), it would be incredibly counterproductive and disappointing to ignore a widespread server blackout that is locking out the very community you are actively trying to engage.
Please escalate this thread to your Network Engineering or Server Operations team immediately to investigate the routing and firewall configurations for the SEA/Indonesian region. We need a proper technical investigation, not standard "restart your router" troubleshooting steps.
Thank you.
They’ll just ignore you mate they are incompetent
