Stuck on Player Montage then Background Screen With No Menu Items
My system: Xbox Series X
Problem: When starting FC26 no normal graphics load. I get some sounds like "EA its in the game." The the player montage video starts with background soundtrack running. If I press some buttons the montage goes away and the main menu background image comes up with no menu items showing.
Things I've tried that have not solved the problem:
- Hard reboot. Unplug from power for several minutes.
- Completely uninstall game and re-install. Partial uninstall (local data only, game only) and re-install.
- Change internet service using a mobile hotspot
- Remove xbox profile and add back again
- Reset MAC address, clear persistent blu-ray storage
- Tried manual DNS address and ports
- Reset entire xbox console
- Log into EA Sports ultimate team web app and make small change in team then start game on xbox (btw, all my squads, player cards, etc. intact on web app)
- Unlink then re-link xbox profile from EA Sports Customer Portal
- Confirmed I have no account bans or flags on EA Sports Account
- Tried the Youtube memory flush trick - switching directly from youtube app to game
Even AI has run out of things for me to try - any help much appreciated.
