The player pushed the ball too far when sprint with R1/RT

Normally, when I press the normal sprint button, the ball doesn't go that far, but now it's like I have to press RT twice to tap the ball to the area ahead. It's very frustrating. This only happens when playing against AI. It makes playing inconveniently. If playing on easy mode, it's fine, but if playing with bots on high difficulty, pressing the sprint button once means I lose the ball and almost can't dribble when I have to play for real. Does anyone know how to solve this problem? Please tell me.
