They broke it on console

 Since the update there in early June even squad battles is delayed . It's like playing with a ball that has lost half it's air it's like playing on a water logged pitch . Attackers get through to get pulled back , deliberately slowed down pulled back by an invisible force . They EA switch it from pc to ps5 every update one time they have the worst next time console has the worst . I sware to god I a m done buying anything that has to connect to EA servers
