EA ID: alluP123
Platform: I bought the game on steam but I am currently using the ea app version because I bought the ea play pro subscription to sell my players.
Timestamps: It is hard to say because the issue started probably over 2 months ago. The last time I got the error message was last weeks Thursday I think but I do not remember the time. The market is currently working for me because im on the ea app version. When my Ea play subscription runs out and I will return to steam the same issue will start (this has already happened once).
Additional information: I unlocked the market on the ea app version of the game which is why the market works on there. However I play on the steam version and there I can only buy players.
aight let's pin this for all the users, shall we?
It sounds like you’re running into a frustrating limitation with EA SPORTS FC 26 account linking and marketplace access on PC.
When you buy FC 26 on Steam, the game uses your EA account but is tied to the Steam license.
Selling players in Ultimate Team requires full marketplace access, which is sometimes restricted if the game is not recognized as your “primary” license or if there’s a mismatch between versions (Steam vs EA App).
On PlayStation/Xbox, players can switch versions easily because the ecosystem supports multiple licenses. On PC, EA currently enforces stricter linking rules. Pc players go play BF6 and call it a day.
So we can switch versions as long as we pay 17 euros each month.Call it quits, scammers!

so what to do to solve this? is the restriction from the license thing a timeless ban or it will get solved once you get in your original steam acc?
