Unable to Claim unlocked Evolution

So when Season 4 ended I unlocked all levels from the pass and while trying to claim the last evolution it disconnected me from the store displaying the message “There was a problem connecting to the Football Ultimate Team servers. Please try again later”. It has been 3-4 weeks since that point and haven’t been able to open a single pack earned or access the paid store, very disappointing as i’m  not able to progress at all within the game. Was wondering if anyone else has had the same problem with claiming and disconnecting and not allowing you to claim? Can’t believe Ea has addressed my issue from online help services but can’t seem to find a solution after a month of having the same problem!
