The problem only happens in the champions event, I don't have such a problem in other live events
I have managed to resolve this issue. It was caused by one evo player. Here is what I did. I tried getting into with each player from my team along with silver players from my club. As an example, I would have 10 silvers and one of my starting 11 players. By doing this (entering games) about five or six times, I identified the problem was with one of my players, which I had recently evoed (Dejong in my case).
With the other players, the game let me continue after kickoff but with De Jong again gave me the same error. I noticed it was an evil error. If you are interested the error was - I had given the fifth playstyle plus, but it was not really visible on screen (only 4 playstyle plus was visible)
Reset that evo fully or remove the previous evo and re evo if required. Then everything should work normally.
I don't know why this throws an error only in certain modes and does not throw an error in other modes, but these steps resolved my issue.
