Controller does not work on PC in-game

Hopped on the game this morning to play with a new team I've built. Decided to go into the Kudus tournament to do the OBJs. Everything was working fine. Controller was working in the menus and all. When I loaded into the game my character had a orange triangle overhead. I thought to myself, not this **bleep** again. This has happened to me over 10 times. My controller works just fine in the menus, but once I load into a game it doesn't. I keep asking myself if it's my fault or are all these players hacking my **bleep** to stop me from playing? Maybe. Or is the game just not registering my controller input for some reason even though this game has been out for 26 years and EA still gets the simplest things wrong for a game to work. I don't know man. I am really enjoying the gameplay this year and EA seems to be listening to us with the patch notes.

EA. I love your game. But **bleep** man you've been putting the same game out for 26 years. There are no excuses and there haven't been for the last 25 years. I just want to escape reality and play with my team without problems that should've been fixed during testing. 

If you need a game tester PLEASE HIRE ME. I WILL BE THERE. I WOULD LIKE TO HELP YOU MAKE THIS GAME GREAT FOR EVERY FOOTBALL LOVER IN THE WORLD. 

I have put 120 hours into FC26 already because I really enjoy it and fortunately I have the time to do that. BUT, in the 120 hours I have had to suffer many disconnects because of this bug and therefore have lost coins which is absolutely ridiculous.
