Deliberate Defensive Sabotage to Please Pro Players
It is very clear that the defensive changes introduced in the latest update were not accidental or the result of a bug. This downgrade feels deliberate. Defensive AI has been intentionally weakened to favor professional players, streamers, and high-paced offensive gameplay. Defenders now behave irrationally, leave massive gaps without reason, fail to mark attackers, and react far too late. This is not “skill gap” — it is forced incompetence. These changes do not reward tactical defending, positioning, or anticipation. Instead, they manufacture mistakes in the defensive AI to increase goal frequency and make attacking easier for a small, vocal group of competitive players. The result is an unbalanced and frustrating experience for the majority of the player base. If gameplay decisions are being driven primarily by feedback from professionals and content creators, then the core football experience is being sacrificed. A football game should reward intelligence and discipline, not artificially created defensive errors. This update has reduced realism, balance, and player control. It needs to be reconsidered.
