EA…AI…scripted matches

So, this, my first time playing UT.

I mainly play rivals … and it’s made me notice a few things…

  • I could go 3-0 up in the first 20 mins … then all of a sudden my players barely move , can’t pass a ball and my opposition turn into prime Brazil… by HT it’ll be 3-3. 
    a few more obvious patterns of play & by FT I’d have lost 7-5. 

  • or I could be 4-0 down at HT…AI will let me score 3 in quick succession, chasing to get the 4th and it flips the other way… they’ll get 2 in a row… 6-3 FT

EA ensuring each game is a thriller !! More like game killer! 

It took me weeks to get into div 7… even longer to get into 6… (where it seemed there was less AI involvement) - got into div 5 

Then one day … boom , it all changed - Couldn’t win to save my life… this went on for days until I was one game away from being relegated to Division 8 

 

my team is roughly 93/94 rated …. Every game feels like hard graft - just scoring a goal feels like an achievement- then the opposition just waltz through my whole team from KO. 

I’ve spent months in div 7 … W,L,DW,D,L etc… it’s impossible to win 2 in a row. 

 

So , I built a new team… no promo cards- just golds - and kept team rating under 90… & guess what…. I won…then I won again… and again - got promoted … kept winning. My team were pure silk , passes connected, Mbappe remembered he is Mbappe. 

Finally it was a joy to play UT26.

SO EA’s AI HAS BEEN LEVELLING UP THE TEAMS AND GIVING THE ADVANTAGE TO THE ‘’Underdog’ !! 

High squad ratings / promo cards - they’re all meaning less. I’ve proved it

and the 94 rated squad that couldn’t win 2 in a row in Div 7!!  (For months)

    Its been like this since I first played on FIFA17, its the biggest scam going in the gaming industry.  Sweat to get Elite 2, then all you get in packs are untradeable duplicates as the top cards.

    Play a bronze team on legendary and the 64 pace backs outrun your 90+ pace wingers, so there is no point in striving to get higher rated players. 

    If they score a goal then they will not score another until you do, you tackle them and the ball goes straight back to them, they shoot, you block and the ball goes straight back to them, you shoot the ball  hits the defender and magically drops straight to his feet.

    You go up to challenge for a header and your player always ends up in the dirt or staggers back about 6 feet, while they just carry on running.

    You make a break and there will be 8 players around your attacker in the 18 yard box, they make a break and Moses parts the red sea and your defenders are no where to be seen so they can go through on goal. 

    This will never change until everybody stops buying this game.
